Union Standard offers local, seasonal foods; the ever-changing menu specializes in the cuisine of the American Northeast, Mid Atlantic, & Appalachian regions and is enhanced by the addition of a Raw Bar featuring shellfish and seafood of the Northeast.
An open kitchen with a wood-fired rotisserie and grill creates a warm and inviting space, designed to combine the comfort of a home cooked meal with the elegance of a special occasion. Choose a casual meal at the bar, or a more refined experience in the dining room.
Chef Stevens - Owner
The anticipated opening marks Chef Stevens’ first venture as owner after 25 years’ experience in some of the finest restaurants in Pittsburgh and on the West Coast. After receiving his degree in Culinary Arts at the renowned Culinary Institute of America in New York, Chef Stevens spent time at Bradley Ogden’s Lark Creek in San Mateo and Wine Spectator Greystone Restaurant in St Helena. In Pittsburgh his experience includes the Duquesne Club, Hyeholde, Casbah, and most recently as Eleven’s Executive Chef for more than ten years.
